Professional Summary

I completed my Bachelor’s of Science in Family Studies and Human Development at The University of Arizona, and my Master’s of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Northern Arizona University. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the states of Oregon (C10922), Arizona (LPC 23405), and Washington (MHC.LH.70079794).

I have a particular passion for working with anxiety disorders, adults with ADHD, and individuals who are curious to learn more about themselves. I am LGBTQIA+ affirming. My personal outlook on counseling is that individuals are the experts of their own lives. I take a strengths-based approach to use previous experiences and existing skills to focus on supporting coping and achieve new goals. My goal is to foster a trusting and nonjudgmental relationship that honors diverse identities. I utilize Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy, mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and a Feminist/Multicultural approach in counseling.

I use this combination of therapy styles to target past trauma or dysfunctional thinking that keep clients “stuck” in current ways of thinking and being. From there, clients can process unhelpful patterns and replace them with more compassionate and useful beliefs and behaviors. I aim to offer support, empathy, empowerment, individualized treatment, and further equip clients with the skills needed to overcome current and future challenges.
